These dogs belong to the toy group, and they are considered to be the largest in the group. They weigh 14-18 pounds, and their sturdy body is much like that of the Bulldog. However, they bear no relation whatsoever to any Mastiff-type breed.

The breed was brought to Europe at the end of the 16th century, and even after that it had to undergo several major transformations before obtaining its current shape. I the 1800s there were two basic varieties: Willoughby and Morrison, which differed in color and shape. Pug chihuahua puppies are some of the cutest dogs you will ever see.
